Cleveland Print Room upholds the value of education by filling critical gaps in public education, sharing cross-cultural perspectives, and using photography and other imagery to develop and empower young artists.
The PHOTOGRAPHIC IMAGE has been and continues to be one of the most effective tools for giving voice and representation. Being seen accurately, having the freedom to tell one’s own stories, and having a place in which those stories are welcome are critical in the work for justice. Cleveland Print Room is committed to creating equitable access for all artists in Cleveland.
The Teen Institute facilitates this space for students through a variety of free-of-charge programs for students ages 12-21 and serves over 700+ students annually. This Photo Mastery program consists of both group and individual mentorship. Programs are held at CPR, Tri-C, Cleveland State University, various Cleveland public and private schools, and locations across our community.
