Film & Darkroom Basics Workshop-2 Thursday Nights

THURSDAY NIGHT WORKSHOP-TWO WEEKS IN A ROW. First class covers B&W film developing and making contact sheets on April 12 from 6 to 9pm and on Thursday April 19 from 6 to 9pm, the second class, the focus will be on printing negatives in the darkroom.

This class is for anyone who needs instruction on getting started with hand-processing and printing B&W film, or for those who would like a refresher course after a long absence from darkroom work.

This course takes place over two Thursdays in a row. Advance registration required! Sign up now. Limited space.

Students should bring TWO rolls of shot standard B&W film to the class -- preferably 24-exposure rolls of the same 35mm film. 
Students will also need to bring a package of photographic paper. Participants may bring dinner or order food in the neighborhood. Please call with any questions.

Artist, Michael Loderstedt, holds a BFA in Printmaking from East Carolina University and an MFA from Kent State University. CPR’s new Operations Assistant for the Cleveland Print Room, Michael Loderstedt is a Professor Emeritus of Kent State University where he also served as their Interim Director of the School of Art. Michael’s photography is on display at the Print Room throughout February as part of the Anthropocene exhibition.
